YES, Olive Grove Charter School is Fully Accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) for grades Transitional Kindergarten through 12th.

Does Olive Grove offer AP courses?

A.

Olive Grove Charter School does offer AP courses, as well as dual enrollment in local community colleges, for those students wishing to get college credit while still in high school.

Must a parent/ guardian attend every weekly meeting?

A.

A parent/ guardian of all students in grades TK- 8 must attend every weekly meeting with the student and teacher.  A parent/ guardian of all students in grades 9- 12 must attend a teacher weekly meeting once a month.

What types of support classes are offered at Olive Grove?

A.

Olive Grove Charter School offers support classes in math and English/ language arts.  Additionally, students in a lab science must attend wet lab classes and students in art classes must attend art class sessions.

How often do I meet with my teacher?

A.

A student meets with his/her teacher once a week for an hour, but must also attend additional support classes, as needed.  Please call us at 805-623-1111 for more information.
